Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, is President and Chief Executive Officer of SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management.

As a global leader on the future of employment, culture and leadership, Mr. Taylor is a sought-after voice on all matters affecting work, workers and the workplace. He is frequently asked to testify before Congress on critical workforce issues and authors a weekly column, “Ask HR,” in USA Today.
Mr. Taylor’s career spans over 20 years as a lawyer, human resources executive and CEO in both the not-for-profit and for-profit space. He has held senior and chief executive roles at IAC/Interactive Corp, Viacom’s Paramount Pictures and Blockbuster Entertainment Group, McGuireWoods LLC, and Compass Group USA. Most recently, Mr. Taylor was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
He is a member of the White House American Workforce Policy Advisory Board and was appointed by President Donald Trump as Chairman of the President’s Advisory Board on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. He serves on the boards of the University of Miami, Jobs for America’s Graduates and the American Red Cross and as an adviser to Safe Streets & Second Chances. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, Illinois and Washington, D.C.
Shri Suresh Prabhu is known as a man of action, having a penchant for undertaking reforms, scripting turnarounds and achieving superlative results by working in mission mode. An advocate for decisive growth-driven change, he is well respected for his impeccable integrity, passion and commitment towards society at large.
He is currently India’s Sherpa to G20 & G7. A Member of Parliament for Government of India. A former Minister of Railways, A former Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation.
Featured among the top three Indian leaders of the future by Asia Week magazine, Hong Kong in its cover story “Giant on the Move,” he has been guided by the dream and mission to balance the needs of human development while preserving the fragile environment. Constantly featured in the list of top five ministers in India from 2014-2017 in terms of both performance and accessibility in nation-wide surveys.
Shri Suresh Prabhu is Official emissary of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India in the G7 & G20 forums. He has been one of the key persons in shaping the official agenda of the Government of India on key issues for G7 & G20 Summit; in a short span he has engaged with global leaders/thinkers and has led delegations across the globe.
As the Minister for Commerce and Industry, he has highlighted areas – such as trade promotion, investment promotion, boosting domestic manufacturing and institutionalizing evidence informed policy making – where a focused approach will be adopted. From Introducing an Agriculture Export Policy, setting up Investment War Room, implementation plan for Make in India 2.0 and setting up a Data Analytics Unit are some of the steps being taken to address each of the areas.
He has served as the Minister for Railways. Under his leadership, Railways transformed from a slow-moving behemoth into a fast, responsive organization. A complaint resolution mechanism through social media, innovative project financing by leveraging extra budgetary resources, quantum jump in infrastructure creation and integrating sustainability into the core strategy of Railways are just some of his successes.
He is well known for his easy accessibility to the public, which not only acts as a deterrent to bureaucratic delays and corruption in the functioning of his Ministry, but also encourages new ideas and viewpoints. He is also a believer in people’s participation in the working of the Ministries under him, especially through the involvement of different stakeholders.
Some lesser known facts about him is that he has been an entrepreneur, banker par excellence.
He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and was the youngest chairman of one of the largest cooperative banks. His life has also been devoted to worthy social causes. He has related to over 150 social & cultural organizations.

Dr. Sanjiv Goenka, is the Chairman of the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group which has an asset base of over Rs.47,000 crores. The Group has 45,000 employees and over five hundred thousand shareholders with annual revenues of more than Rs 27,000 crores.
The Group’s businesses spanning across eight sectors – Power & Natural Resources, Carbon Black, Retail & Consumer, Media, Entertainment, Sports, IT & Education, include flagship companies such as CESC Limited, Phillips Carbon Black Ltd, Firstsource Solutions Ltd., Spencer’s Retail and Saregama India Ltd.
In April 2001, Dr. Sanjiv Goenka took over as the youngest-ever President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP), and the International Management Institute, Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata. Mr. Goenka is ranked No. 18 in India Today’s list of 50 Most powerful people in India in 2019. Son of late Dr. Rama Prasad Goenka, Dr Sanjiv Goenka was born in Kolkata in 1961. He graduated from St. Xavier’s College in 1981. Married to Preeti, they have a daughter Avarna and a son Shashwat.
He is one of the industry leaders who pioneered a new global business model and transformed a division of General Electric (GE Capital International Services) into Genpact, a global professional services firm delivering digital transformation solutions for clients. Genpact has more than 90,000 employees and annual revenues of $3.52 billion USD as of December 31, 2019. Tiger was appointed as Genpact’s Chief Executive Officer in 2011 after serving as Chief Operating Officer.
In his current role, Tiger counsels and collaborates with C-suite executives of large global corporations, helping them drive change in their companies to improve their competitiveness. He frequently writes and speaks on such topics as digital disruption, global talent issues, continuous skill development, and the importance of building a strong corporate culture.
Tiger is especially passionate about diversity, and serves on the Board of Catalyst, a global non-profit organization working with some of the world’s most powerful CEOs to help build workplaces that work for women. He also was one of the founding supporters of the U.S. chapter of the 30% Club, which is committed to gender balance on boards of directors and in senior management. He is an active member of the Fortune CEO Initiative, a forum for corporate leaders committed to addressing major social problems as part of their core business strategies.
Tiger began his career with the Unilever Group in India before moving to Citibank’s Consumer Financial Services businesses in sales, operations, and credit. He then joined GE Capital in 1994 as head of Risk in India and went on to become CEO for GE Capital’s Global Consumer Finance and Auto Financial Services business in India. Among his various roles at GE, he served as the Global Operating Leader for the GE Capital Commercial Lending businesses in the United States.
Tiger has a degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, where he majored in finance and marketing.

Annette Dixon is the World Bank Group’s Vice President for Human Resources, responsible for providing strategic leadership to the institution on talent development and overseeing all HR policies, programs, services to support the Bank Group’s global workforce.
Prior to this appointment, Annette was the World Bank’s Vice President, Human Development, overseeing the Global Practices for education; health, nutrition, and population; gender; and social protection and jobs, and the Gender Group. She led the Bank’s work on Human Capital and oversaw the COVID-19 emergency response, under which the Bank delivered $20 billion in human development investments.
She was previously the Bank’s Vice President for the South Asia Region. In managing the World Bank’s engagement in South Asia to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity, Annette led relations with eight countries, including India—the institution’s biggest client. She also oversaw lending operations and trust-funded projects worth more than $10 billion a year.
Before joining the region, Annette was Director, Strategic Planning in the Budget, Performance Review and Strategic Planning Vice Presidency and Country Director to Central Asia, then South East Asia. She joined the Bank in 1999 and worked as Sector Director to Human Development in the ECA region.
Annette is a long-standing champion on gender issues. In South Asia, she set a target to deliver 100 percent gender-informed projects and interventions, going beyond the global corporate requirements. Under her leadership, the regional priority for South Asia was to support countries to improve Women’s Labor Force Participation.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Annette Dixon worked for the Government of New Zealand as Chief Executive of the Ministry of Youth Affairs. She also served as General Manager, Sector Policy; Deputy Director-General in the Ministry of Health; Director of Health Policy, Department of the Prime Minister; and Manager Policy Division, Ministry of Women’s Affairs.
Born in New Zealand, Annette holds a Master of Public Policy. She was also awarded the Harkness Fellowship in Health Policy and Management at the George Washington University in 1994-1995.

Leena Nair is the first female, first Asian, youngest ever CHRO of Unilever and member of the Unilever Leadership Executive (ULE), which is responsible for delivering Unilever’s business & financial performance. Leena bears overall responsibility for the 160,000-strong human capital of Unilever, which operates across multiple regulatory and labour environments spread over 190 countries. She ensures the company has the right people, in the right roles, with the right capabilities and mindset to deliver high business performance. This is a key enabler for Unilever to meet its ambitious business goals with positive environmental and social impact. Throughout her career, Leena has gained a strong reputation for her leadership ability to ignite outstanding business growth. Through always-on learning and constant experimentation, together with an outside-in view of her customer, Leena ensures that her people and business stay ahead of the curve. Achal Khanna is the CEO for SHRM India and Asia Pacific Head for Business Development. SHRM India is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management with more than 2,90,000 members worldwide.
Achal is responsible for leading the India operations of SHRM, as well as Asia Pacific operations including Middle-East. She serves on the global SHRM Leadership Team and is responsible for building the brand, expanding its business and developing professional relationships with government agencies, and other HR and business associations in the region.
Achal has over 30 years of work experience. Prior to joining SHRM, she was Managing Director for Kelly India operations; Vice President for GE; and Country Manager for Polaroid India. She has also worked with Dupont, ITC and Cosmo Group in various capacities.

Neelakantha Bhanu Prakash

Neelakantha Bhanu, aged 20, from Hyderabad, has won the first gold medal for India at the Mental Calculation World Championship, MIND SPORTS OLYMPICS, UK, beating 29 competitors, up to 57 years of age, from 13 countries at Mind Sports Olympics held in London recently, who also recently got congratulated by the President of India and addressed Common Wealth Nations. Bhanu has addressed conferences across 23 countries on the importance of math education in the human resource development of a country.

He joined Microsoft Asia in February 2020, following 23 successful years at GE and Genpact (a spin off from GE in 2005) where he last served as Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer leading the company’s growth globally across all industry verticals, products, service lines and geographies. Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles at Xerox.
Mazhari holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, India. He is married with one child. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking with his family, is passionate about fitness, is an avid reader and loves watching cricket.
Anita Bhatia

On 30 May 2019, UN Secretary-General António Guterres announced the appointment of Ms. Anita Bhatia of India as Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Deputy Executive Director for Resource Management, Sustainability and Partnerships at UN Women.
Ms. Bhatia has had a distinguished career at The World Bank Group, serving in various senior leadership and management positions, both at Headquarters and in the field. She brings extensive experience in the area of strategic partnerships, resource mobilization and management. Ms. Bhatia has served for several years as Director of Global Partnerships for the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of The World Bank Group. She developed and expanded innovative partnerships with public and private sector partners to support IFC strategy in key areas, including fragile and conflict-affected states, gender equality, financial inclusion, support to women-owned businesses and other priorities critical for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition, she has served as Director of Development Partner Relations for the World Bank in which she led efforts to ensure strategic alignment between institutional priorities and resource mobilization across the World Bank Group.
In various positions she focused on enhancing sustainability, institutional effectiveness and impact through strategic partnerships. As Head of IFC’s Latin America Advisory Operations, based in Lima and La Paz, she successfully grew the Corporation’s reach and impact in the region. As Director of Partnerships and Advisory Operations, she oversaw financial management, risk management, portfolio management, knowledge management and learning for Advisory Services across the globe. She has led diverse teams, including as Global Head of Knowledge Management, Head of Business Process Improvement and Head of Change Management. In addition to Latin America, she has worked in Africa, Europe, Central Asia and South and East Asia.
Ms. Bhatia holds a BA in History from Calcutta University, an MA in Political Science from Yale University and a Juris Doctor in Law from Georgetown University.
In this role, Piyush leads Genpact’s global Human Resources (HR) function and plays an integral role in the company’s ongoing journey to be an employer of choice.
Piyush has contributed to a wide variety of areas involved in people management in both business and corporate roles, including employee relations, organization capabilities, integrations of mergers and acquisitions, and managing the HR function for profit-and-loss businesses and geographies.
Piyush joined Genpact in 2001 and led HR engagements across various businesses. He began his career with Hindustan Lever, served as HR director for AT&T in India, and as the organization capability director for Frito-Lay, Asia Pacific.
Piyush earned a post-graduate degree in personnel management from the Xavier School of Management in Jamshedpur, India, and a bachelor’s degree with honors in economics from Delhi University.
Emily M. Dickens, J.D., serves as SHRM’s Corporate Secretary, Chief of Staff and Head of Government Affairs. She is the executive responsible for coordinating staff to implement the CEO’s vision, the liaison for the SHRM Board and subsidiary boards, and executive with oversight of external partnerships, public policy, government affairs, and administrative services.
Dickens is an attorney with significant and progressive experience in government, higher education and the non-profit sector. She has served as a member of the leadership team at the University of North Carolina system, the Association of Governing Boards of Colleges and Universities and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. Her prior roles include general counsel, chief relationship officer, senior vice president, vice president for public policy and assistant vice president for federal relations. Dickens has also worked at Duke University and Fayetteville State University in administrative and external affairs roles.
Emily is actively engaged in board service. She is currently a member of Strategic Education, Inc. HIRE Advisory Board; the Board of National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL); the Advisory Council of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI); the Advisory Board of the College of Arts and Sciences at North Carolina Central University; and chairs the International HBCU Task Force for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
She is a graduate of North Carolina Central University and North Carolina Central University School of Law.

Dr. R. Ananthanarayanan (Ananth) is Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Strides Pharma Science Limited. He has over three decades of top pedigree global pharmaceutical experience across technical and commercial functions. Before joining Strides, Ananth was President & Global Chief Operating Officer at Cipla Limited, where he oversaw the company’s generics business in regulated markets, branded generics in emerging markets, API business and complex drug-device combinations. Prior to that, he was President & CEO of Global APIs, Biologics, & Medis Generics B2B division at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd in the U.S., managing multi-billion P&L responsibility. He has also held leadership roles at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Piramal Healthcare (formerly Nicholas Piramal), Galpharm International, U.K. (acquired by Perrigo Group), and Zydus Cadila. Ananth is a Graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Mumbai, India. He has also been a member of the Board of Advisors at the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey. Cyrus Sahukar really needs no introduction. Known for his brilliant comic wit, satirical comedy shows and his ability to not just hold but also engage an audience, whether on radio, television, films or live events, Cyrus Sahukar has always been a popular face in the Indian media, well-loved by audiences and industry alike.
Born to a Parsi army colonel and a Punjabi writer, Cyrus grew up in Delhi, where at a very young age, he performed in school plays, actively participated in theatre and even sang for his school band. By age 16, he had acted in educational skits for the inmates of Tihar jail, performed as a professional singer, lent his voice for voiceovers and jingles, hosted a radio show in Delhi and worked as part of the production and cast in numerous plays.
The turning point in his life calme at age 18, when he auditioned for and won the nation-wde MTV India VJ Hunt, and moved from Delhi to Mumbai, to become one of the youngest people working in MTV. Within a year, Cyrus had carved his own niche and literally spearheaded the youth comedy genre, by hosting and fronting some of the best comedy content on Indian television, with shows like MTV Fully Faltoo, where he parodied popular movies, shows and commercials; MTV Kickass Mornings, MTV’s first foray into Mockumentaries, where he played over 25 different characters; and other shows like MTV Housefull, MTV Bakra, MTV Roadies, and live events like MTV Style Awards. It was during this time, that he created some of India’s most unforgettable spoof characters like Piddhu The Great based on Navjot Singh Sidhu, and of course, Semi Girebaal, which was a spoof on Rendezvous with Semi Garewal, and which recorded even higher ratings than the original show!
After that, there was no looking back. From hosting numerous telelvision shows for channels like Pogo, Nat Geo, Sab TV and Colors, to acting in full-length feature films, like Bombay Talkies, Delhi 6, Aisha n Rang De Basanti and Om Jai Jagdish ,million dollar arm , and recently shot for a film with director mira Nayar.Cyrus Sahukar became well-known for his sharp and witty comments, and endeared himself not just to fans and Indian audiences, but to the television and film fraternity as well. In 2015 he also finished his 1000th show that he hosted on stage

Radha Ahluwalia

Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra is Director (Human Resources) on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) with effect from 19.2.2018. Prior to this, he was IndianOil’s Executive Director in charge of West Bengal State Office. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from BITS, Pilani, with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, Mr. Mohapatra joined IndianOil in 1987 and has since worked on varied assignments, including Terminal Operations, Supply Chain Management & Logistics. With in-depth knowledge and acumen in Supply Chain & Logistics, he had been associated with evacuation of finished products from IndianOil’s domestic refineries, and product upliftment agreements with stand-alone refiners as well as other oil marketing companies (OMCs).
Mr. Mohapatra was also one of the chief architects of the auto fuel quality (BS-III/BS-IV) upgradation programmes of OMCs in India. Between April 2010 and Jan. 2012, he headed the Operations function of IndianOil’s Maharashtra State Office, which oversees the largest number of bulk storage terminals & depots in a State. As Managing Director of IndianOil(Mauritius) Ltd., the Company’s overseas subsidiary, during 2012-2015, Mr. Mohapatra led a team of young professionals, registering sizeable growth in market share and profitability. He was also on the Board of Mer Rouge Oil Storage Terminal, a joint venture formed by four MNCs to set up modern oil storage facilities in Mauritius. Under his inspiring leadership as head of IndianOil’s West Bengal State Office, the OMCs released a record 10.5 lakh PMUY (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana) connections in the first 116 days of the scheme, that is, over 9,000 new connections a day.
Always eager to try out new things, Mr. Mohapatra achieved cashless transaction facilities at almost all Indian Oil fuel stations in West Bengal State and piloted a smart auto-fuel complex that has come up at Rajarhat in Kolkata. Being a person with human touch, Mr. Mohapatra initiated his direct interaction with Young Officers of different functions in the State Office, which has been greatly appreciated. He also conceptualized and launched the now acclaimed Fab-14, which is a novel mentoring system within the channel partners. R Ramanan is the Senior Vice President of Tata Consultancy Services, prior to this he was the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of CMC Ltd., a subsidiary of the globally acclaimed Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
Ramanan’s illustrious career in the IT industry spans more than three decades when he joined TCS in 1981 after graduating from IIT Bombay in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Ramanan has also been invited as the guest of honor at convocation of various prestigious institutions like:

Sailesh Menezes is currently the India HR Leader with an overall responsibility for the India Geography.
