Dr. Ajit Ranade has served as Vice Chancellor, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, a deemed University in Pune from February 2022 till October 2024

His professional career has spanned academic and corporate assignments, including teaching in universities in India and U.S. He has served on many boards of companies, academic institutions, and trusts. He has served on various committees of the Reserve Bank of India, most recently in the committee for Fuller Capital Account Convertibility.

Dr. Ranade is a trustee of Pune International Centre, Board member of MCCIA and Chairs the Research Advisory Panel of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.
