Ashish Chattoraj is the Chief People Officer at Tally Solutions. With over two decades of rich and diverse experience in Human Resources, he has held leadership roles across sectors that include FMCG, IT services, Semiconductor, fintech, and software.

In his current role, Ashish is focused on aligning HR objectives with Tally's business priorities, spearheading transformative initiatives to modernize HR practices and enhance the overall employee experience. Committed to elevating Tally's rich legacy, he is steering the organization to thrive in a dynamic global business environment, ensuring it remains a leader in innovation and excellence.

Ashish brings a strong blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution in areas such as change management, organizational structuring, leadership development, and business HR partnerships. He has successfully managed HR strategies across diverse business scenarios, including ramp-ups, site closures, divestments, and mergers, and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Tally Solutions, Ashish held multiple strategic roles at PayU, beginning as the CHRO for Payments and later overseeing the people functions for PayU’s India entities between 2019 and 2024. During his tenure, he led transformative HR initiatives to drive growth and integration across the organization. Earlier, as Country Head HR at Freescale, and subsequently Country HR Head for NXP where Ashish played a critical role in merger of Freescale & NXP in one of leading chip design company in India, He was responsible for shaping the India NXP organizational culture and strategy, contributing significantly to its success and alignment with business goals.

He has an MBA from XISS, Ranchi, class of 2002, and he has travelled to cities across India, equipping him with a well-rounded perspective and adaptability.
