Dilip Pattanayak currently working as President & CHRO - Steel & Corporate for JSW. He is responsible for the entire gamut of HR and related activities for Steel Vertical in addition to corporate functions of HR. Before joining JSW, he was with Reliance Industries where he was Senior Executive Vice President & Head HR (Manufacturing). During his over 24 years of experience, he has worked with companies like Vedanta, L&T, Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited, and Siemens.

Dilip's professional career encompasses experience in the areas like Organization Design & Building organization, HR Policies including Systems & Procedures for Start-Ups, Manpower Planning & Resourcing (including expats), Performance Management & Compensation Management, Leadership Development Intiatives, Change Management consequent to merger/acquisition.

He is Gold Medalist in HR from Utkal University.
