Gopinath (Gopi) Pullaihgari heads a strong fleet of Human Resources professionals at Verizon India. Dynamic and creative in his approach, Gopi comes with rich experience of over 25+ years in people management gained through his exposure to multiple global organizations. He has pioneered initiatives on talent management and transformation, setting up innovative HR practices focusing on leadership and agile HR methodology. Gopi believes that diversity is more than a number and is a strong practitioner of inclusion both, at the workplace and in his personal life.

He remains closely connected with the business driving talent strategy as a key business enabler. His broad base of strategic and tactical HR experience elevates the quality of the workforce, increasing their productivity to enhance stakeholder value. Prior to joining Verizon in 2012, Gopi was associated with JP Morgan.

A wanderer at heart, an angler by passion and a sports enthusiast, Gopi enjoys playing Frisbee and Cricket. He graduated in economics from the Presidency College and holds a Masters in Social Work from PSG College of Arts and Science.
