Jaya Awasthi is the Principle and Head of Skill COE in Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) which is the Apex Industry Association of India. She is currently leading COE`s work in the area of Skills and policy advocacy. She is based in Delhi/NCR.

Jaya is a Lawyer (LLB – Labor and employment Laws) and MBA (Human Resources) along with a specialisation in Public policy and Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School.

Prior to joining CII, she held senior positions in organisations such as JP Morgan, Deloitte, IBM; latest corporate role being India Head - Employee and Labor Relations, Apple and Chair for Women@Apple - a diversity network. She has won multiple awards and created policies that have impacted the Human Resource, social justice and diversity landscape in India, significantly.
