He has worked across Asia-Pacific markets nurturing talent, helping leaders at all levels to develop and grow, and enabling organizations to achieve goals via effective Human Capital Management. Pankaj has set up successful HR practices for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups by providing thought leadership on matters involving organizational development, strategic planning, HR lifecycle initiatives, capability development, management of complex workforce models, operations, labour relations, change management & transformation, employee engagement, M&A and integration.
As an advocate of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Chair of the APAC DEI Council, he is a strong believer in nurturing diverse teams across APAC that are empowered to drive our long-term success and backing that up with tangible policies to support this ecosystem. As the HR Head of American Tower, Pankaj works with the Council to provide our employees with an environment where they feel respected and valued for their uniqueness and perform at their best.
As a mentor, Pankaj strongly believes in supporting the next generation of future leaders. He works with high-potential managers, empowers them, and guides them to help them progress in their professional journey. His greatest reward is to see them rise beyond their roles to take on more challenging profiles and businesses. Over the span of his career, he has coached an edutech start-up to help set up a commercially and legally successful business. He regularly mentors young HR professionals from premier B Schools to help them navigate and build a successful HR practice in their companies. He is also called upon to teach young budding HR professionals from FMS and other institutes.
