A highly motivated, results focused HR Leader with over 18 years of proven success in shaping high-performing work cultures, Pooja has deployed cutting edge practices in Strategic Human Resource Management at both Corporate Office and at the Manufacturing Plant levels with key focus on managing Talent Pipelines, Industrial Relations, Strategic HR Management and CSR. Stepping into her role as CHRO - Piaggio India during the Covid-19 pandemic, Pooja has successfully managed the highly volatile, ambiguous and uncertain period which has ensured sustained continuity at the manufacturing facility.

As an acclaimed Talent Management Professional, Pooja is a seasoned OD practitioner with rich experience in leading and designing organization wide interventions to identify and develop leadership talent by deploying methodologies such as behavioral competency assessment and Development Centers and Executive Coaching. At Piaggio India, Pooja has conceptualized and led digital transformation initiatives that were replicated in Piaggio Italy and Piaggio Vietnam.

Pooja works closely with the top leadership on business transformation projects providing expertise and key advisory on change management and workforce alignment. As a courageous leader that Pooja is, she believes that the HR function should continuously challenge the status quo in a bid to enhance efficiency of an organizational system. She has thus, spearheaded several restructurings that have augmented productivity for the business.

Beyond her Corporate Organizational Role in Piaggio, Pooja is also a member of the Advisory Board of two EdTech companies, TRUEtest and Talgro. TRUEtest is the exclusive assessment partner for NSDC (a Government of India initiative) that enables people to assess their skills, interest orientation and occupational personality profiles, along with career counselling and industry mentoring services. Talgro has as its key objective of creation of larger employability opportunities within Indian as well as overseas markets. They do this by offering online certification courses that are built in partnership with premier universities and global thought leaders. Pooja adds significant value to these EdTech businesses through strategic inputs on content development, content review, skilling focus areas as well as insight on how to augment employability.

Pooja has been the recipient of more than 23 Awards in India as well as across the globe that recognize her contribution specifically in her current roles and in general to the HR fraternity.
