Rajeev Gupta (b 1958) founded Arpwood Financial Group in 2012, comprising an M&A investment bank (Arpwood Capital Ltd) and a mid-market PE buyouts firm (Arpwood Partners). Prior to setting up Arpwood, he was a global partner at The Carlyle Group, and before that the Joint Managing Director of DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd.

He has an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad (1982) and a B.Tech from IIT BHU (1980).
