
Raman Kumar Singh
Raman brings over 25 years of experience. His career spans a range of HR leadership positions with PwC, HT Media Limited, Maruti Suzuki, PepsiCo & ABB. He started his career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee with Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited.
In his career, Raman has led both generalist and specialist HR functions. He has successfully designed and implemented multiple major change initiatives in the area of organization design, leadership development, talent acquisition, total rewards, diversity & inclusion, and labour relations. Throughout his career he has focussed his efforts on aligning people strategy with business strategy through a sustainable organization culture which is based on cultivating a strong set of shared values and purpose.
He firmly endorses the view that HR needs to help create a vision that generates emotional and intuitive acceptance among the employees. He believes this is possible by enabling the managers to become true leaders and coaches for their teams, such that they are able to balance the context, the team relationship and the organisation direction. Such an organisation will harness employees’ talents and continue to learn, adapt and grow in the rapidly evolving VUCA world.
Raman is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from MNNIT Allahabad and has also completed his post-graduation in HR from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
