Global Head of L&D, Regulatory Training, Leadership Development & OD, Culture & Change

As the Global Head - Capability, Culture, Change, Leadership Development and OD, for Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Sachin is accountable for individual and organizational capability development and future skilling needs across technical learning, commercial, compliance, scientific, leadership and professional skills. His role impacts the skills and capability landscape for more than twenty-eight thousand on & off-balance sheet global DRL colleagues. Prior to this role, Sachin spent time at Novartis as their Global Head of Learning for Operations and Corp. Functions. Prior to Novartis, Sachin was the Chief Learning Officer for Global Consulting at Deloitte Consulting.

Sachin has over 26 years of experience within Capability Development, Talent Management and Organizational Development domains. During this time, he has worked and learnt with organizations as varied as the Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Amazon, Accenture, IBM India, Deloitte and Novartis to name a few. He has developed substantial experience in establishing global learning and development organizations, developing skill sensing networks, and driving future skills agenda, while managing multi-locational and multicultural teams and stakeholder groups.

Sachin passed out of the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) at Lucknow and specialized in Food and Beverage Operations. He holds a BS in Hotel and Hospitality Administration and was awarded a silver medal along with his Diploma in Training & Development from the Indian Society for Training & Development. In 2016, he finished his executive MBA from Anderson School of Business at University of California, Los Angles (UCLA).

He is an avid reader and technology, politics, modern Indian history, and science fiction are his favorite topics/genres. Professionally, He has evolving interest in the areas of Future of Work, Communities of Practice, Social Learning, Serious Games, Skill sensing networks and Learning Evaluation frameworks. He is an avid platform gamer with keen interest in the application of serious games as a learning tool.
