With a philosophical bend of mind and a cheerful disposition, Sankara Reesu, is a passionate and self-made HR leader who strives to elevate the everyday experience of employees and customers. He is an avid learner and doer with over two decades of versatile work experience in multiple industries.

Sankara’s professional journey commenced as Technician Apprentice at ISRO, after which he was associated with Gati Limited, TATA Tele, NCC Limited in various Project Management roles and went on to become head of HR & IR at Pennar Industries Limited.

Currently serving as the Group Head of Human Potential Development at Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, one of the most recognized agricultural brands in India. He is responsible for spearheading the strategic HR for diversified businesses, capability development, integration of HR strategies to strengthen current and future business plans.

Sankara embeds a culture of “Employee First and Openness” to ignite the human spark to build a better business and a better world. His diversified project management background coupled with experience in people management makes him a unique HR leader.

Having seen life from both sides in his early career, he spends his leisure doing social work and coach youngsters in career guidance and advancement. Recently, he has been awarded as the Great Indian CHRO Leader of the Year 2023-2024 by Transformance Forums.
