Out of a total experience of over 30 + years, Tojo has worked both in India and abroad, both as Human Resources practitioner and as a consultant.

• He started his career with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) where he held responsibilities in the corporate office (Mumbai) as well as Head of HR for North and South Zones, based out of New Delhi and Chennai respectively

• On leaving HPCL, he joined Arvind Mills at Ahmedabad, where he had a stint of 5 years and was designated as Head HR for Textiles Business at the time of leaving Arvind Mills

• After Arvind Mills, Tojo had a stint of almost 2 years with Arthur Anderson (Mumbai) in Change Management Consulting before proceeding to Middle East where he was Group Chief Human Resources Officer (GCHRO) for Al_Suwaidi Group. Based out of the Holding Company, he was responsible for HR for the 9 companies in the Group, employing more than 10,000 employees, drawn from more than 30 countries

• On return to India after a 6 years’ stint in the Middle East, he joined as Vice President-HR & OD with Jubilant Energy, based out of NCR where he served for almost 4 years

• He joined Blue Star Limited, in December 2010, as Executive Vice President-Human Resources responsible for both HR & EHS, with a mandate to introduce and institutionalize HR best practices as relevant to Blue Star needs and culture under the aegis of People excellence Program (PxP). He served Blue Star for 5 +

• Since Oct 2016, he is working with Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG) as CHRO, responsible for creating competitive advantage for the Group by introducing and institutionalizing contemporary HR practices and initiatives

• Recipient of the HR Leadership Award at the 6th Employer Branding Awards (Regional Round) and India Human Capital Summit 2011 held on December 17th,2011 at Indira Group Of Institutes, Pune
