Varadarajan or Raja as he is popularly known as, is a MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, Master of Commerce from Madras University, has Professional diplomas in Law and Training & Development. An Executive Coach from Center for Creative Leadership US, a certified Hogan analyst and qualified for Independent Directors.

Has over four decades of experience in various industries in Manufacturing, Telecom, Financial Services, Management consulting, IT Enabled Services and Aviation across India, Middle East, ASEAN & SE Asia, US and UK markets. Worked in Organisations such as McDowell & Co, Sundaram Clayton TVS, Price Waterhouse, KPMG, American Express, Wipro Spectramind, Quatrro and various companies in Tata Group (Tata Cellular, Tata Teleservices and Tata Group HR) with his last assignment with Vistara (Tata-SIA Airlines)

He was part of the start up team of Vistara and was instrumental in setting up the People processes in the organisation linked to the business strategy of Vistara. He played a key role in the setting up of the teams for one of the quickest launch of an airline in India.

Presently runs his own firm helping companies in their journey to expand and grow and is on Advisory Board of a few mid level companies like Talocity, Hono HR and Z&M Foods and assists a few more companies in their transformation such as Authbridge. He is also part of the Corporate Advisory Group at IIM Udaipur and a Mentor for the Executive MS Program at Columbia University US

He has received a great deal of industry wide recognition, during his career – some of them being, awarded the Seasoned HR Professional Award from NHRDN and the Best HR Professional, by the World HR Congress for thought leadership & contribution in the field of HR.
