Sudipta is responsible for the complete gamut of Human Resource, Business Excellence - TQM, CSR and Management of Business Ethics and Office of Strategic Management for 22 business units and Joint Venture companies globally for his company. Sudipta is currently the Chairperson of CII Maharashtra HR & IR Panel.

He is responsible for HR complete gamut for 22 business units and JV companies of Tata Autocomp across India , China, Sweden, Poland, Mexico and USA- encompasses 55 manufacturing locations and a revenue of Rs 24000 crores and total headcount of 21000 plus employees globally.

Sudipta has led the company in the Journey of 650+ Coveted JRDQV Award in TBEM External assessment. Additionally, Sudipta has the experience of Strategy, Human Resource and Business Excellence, in companies like Tata Capital, Tata Technologies & Tata Motors. He is a TATA veteran and regarded as one the best performing CHROs in the Group.

Recently he has been the awarded as the CHRO of the Year award in National HR Excellence Awards and in 2023 awarded the “ Best Tata Group Team Leader “ by Group Chairman , Tata Group.

He has functional expertise in Human Resource, Corporate Strategy, M&A, Private Equity, Human Resource and Business Excellence and was a part of the start-up team of Tata Technologies and Tata Capital and have worked in multiple geographies including Michigan – USA, China, Singapore, Thailand to name a few to set up Tata business ventures.

He is an economist by education and have received his Advanced Management Program from INSEAD, France.
