Archana Chadha is the Head of Human Resources for HSBC, India and is responsible for driving HSBC’s People strategy to support the growth of India businesses in a rapidly changing and digital environment.

An accomplished HR leader with a career spanning over two decades in HSBC India, Archana has rich and extensive experience across different businesses including Retail Banking, Securities Services and Human Resources. She has been instrumental in leading professionals to drive large scale strategic initiatives and support businesses by enabling change, creating leadership depth and instituting a strong performance and values culture

Having worked across multiple cross geographical projects along with her diverse experience in business and functional roles, Archana reflects an agile and culturally adaptable mindset. She has partnered HR Leadership in India by building a strong leadership bench, rationalizing and repurposing the workforce and facilitating culture change - thereby creating a nimble and digital ready workforce.

Prior to taking up her current role at HSBC, Archana was Head of Performance and Rewards, HSBC India and responsible for the pay and performance delivery to all of HSBC’s Businesses and Entities in India.
