Chitra Narayanan is an Editorial Consultant with The Hindu Businessline. In her three-decade long journalism career she has done stints with BW (Businessworld), Business Today, Economic Times, Business Standard and written for the Mint and The Telegraph. She has reported widely on marketing strategy, workplaces, entrepreneurship, management and travel & hospitality.

She has authored a book From Oberoi to Oyo, published by Penguin Random House which landscapes the hotel industry in India as well as a book called Fort Pupils, which chronicles the century old story of the Scindia School in Gwalior.
