Ina is an accomplished HR practitioner and part of the HR leadership team at Tata Communications managing an integrated portfolio. As Vice President, Human Resources, she heads human resources for the Digital & Technology business units, leads the Learning, Leadership & Organisation Development and Future of Work efforts globally. She has spent 9 years with Tata Communications and over the years, has developed trust-based relationships with the entire Top Team, including the Sales Leadership, who are at the front of the engine driving the company’s growth ambition, and led many people transformation measures with their partnership to drive organization effectiveness.

She has over 18 years of intra-disciplinary experience in human resources and has worked across sectors such as Technology, Banking and Consulting. Prior to Tata Communications, Ina has worked with BCG, HSBC and Essar Group, holding various leadership positions in HR, including global roles, with specialised experience in areas of People Strategy & Culture, Talent Management, Learning, Leadership & Organisation Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Driving large-scale transformations/change and Strategic Resourcing.

Her strengths lie in being a humanistic leader who partners with business leaders to build & execute their people strategy to solve complex people problems. She follows a disciplined yet flexible problem-solving approach that balances business goals with employee needs. She remains fascinated by the evolution of the people function in its contributions to creating value for the top and bottom-line growth for the company. In 2022, she brought home 3 Brandon Hall Awards (Academy awards equivalent for HR function) for creating change programs that impacted business outcomes.

Ina completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai and also holds a degree in Economics, English Literature & Functional English from Chandigarh University.
