Krishnakumar Thirumalai is a seasoned professional with over 41 years of experience in the Consumer Brands and FMCG segment. He has held positions at various organizations such as Coca Cola India, Asian Paints, Johnson & Johnson Ltd, Parry's Confectionery Ltd., Tiffany Foods- Dubai.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities. He has significant experience heading the organizations in developing and emerging markets in the fast-moving consumer goods sector.

In his previous role, he was President of Coca Cola India & Southwest Asia and has crafted the organization’s business strategy, ensuring revenue growth in a responsible and profitable manner.

In his current role he is heading Reliance Consumer Products Limited and is responsible for setting up the business and expanding the organization into various categories. He is also responsible for nurturing new and existing customers, partnerships, strategic alliances, and other market opportunities.

Krishnakumar holds an MBA in Marketing from IIM Bangalore (1983) and a BE (Hons) from College of Engineering Guindy (1981). He also participated in an Advanced Management program at Wharton Business School in 1996.

Outside of work, he enjoys working for the community and has created a trust in the name of his Guru to support rural empowerment.
