Rajiv Kumar is the Vice President & Country Leader of SumTotal India. In his role he is responsible for leading the Sales and Consulting Lines of Business across the region including Presales, Channels, Professional Services and Strategic Customer Program. His focus lies in strategy, innovation, people management and customer experience.

As the Country Leader, he holds the responsibility to drive the next phase of growth for SumTotal in India overseeing and providing guidance to sales, customer support, professional services, partner ecosystem and marketing initiatives.

Rajiv has two decades of rich experience in business management, strategy, sales, corporate affairs, market development and marketing Management. Prior to SumTotal, Rajiv was the Vice President & Head of Oracle Business at Sify Technologies. Previously, he was the Sales Leader of the Oracle’s Technology business in Public Sector in India. He was leading the strategic initiatives of Big Data, Data Warehousing, Information Security, Information Lifecycle Management and Cloud Computing for Oracle in the Public Sector.

A 20+ year sales and marketing veteran, Rajiv has managed Entrepreneurial roles with exposure to multiple functions across verticals and geographies in large MNCs as well as Start-up organisations.

His is a firm believer that success lies in building talented teams and strong customer relationships; and an effective leader should focus on getting the best people for the job, giving them the tools and skills they need to succeed, and celebrating victories with them.
