Sharath Chandra is the Global Head of Learning & Development for Infosys BPM, responsible for all Training and L&D initiatives across India and global centres of the organization. As a member of the HRD Management Council, he also participates in formulation and deployment of HR strategies for Infosys BPM. Also, he is a member of the Training & Skills Council and Employee Engagement Council of the organization.

Sharath has been part of Infosys for over fifteen years, having played various leadership roles within the organization. Prior to his current role, Sharath was the head of ‘Capability Planning and Development’ for the organization and was a Business Head for a very large Technology Support Unit.

Prior to Infosys, he had over a decade’s experience in the IT and ITES industry, having played diverse roles in Operations, Presales and Product Design.

Sharath is an Electronics Engineer and an MBA. He has also completed an Executive Management Program from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad; an Executive Program in Digital Strategy, Innovation and Business Transformation from Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad; and a program on Human Resources Leadership from Wharton. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®
