Emrana Sheikh

Enterprise HR Head, Johnson & Johnson India & South Asia

Emrana Sheikh is the Enterprise HR Head for Johnson & Johnson India & South Asia. In this role, Emrana leads the Company’s human resource strategy for all 4 Business Sectors namely Consumer, Medical Devices, Vision and Pharmaceuticals, with a special focus on organization design, talent development, capability, culture, and diversity & inclusion initiatives. She is member of Asia Pacific Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Board of Johnson and Johnson.

She has overall rich experience of more than 25 years in both Manufacturing and Service Industry ranging from FMCG, Automotive, Express Transportation, Agricultural Equipment and Media. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Emrana has been heading HR portfolios in large global organizations like Asian Paints, Mahindra & Mahindra & FedEx.

She has Bachelor of Science (Physics) and Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Mumbai University. She has also completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Management from University of Leicester, UK. She is a certified ICF Coach and has received several other certifications including Hogan, MBTI, FIRO-B etc. She was nominated for the prestigious Mahindra Universe Program at Harvard University.

A much-recognized HR leader, Emrana has featured in Economic Times Women Ahead 2016 list as Corporate India’s fastest rising women leaders. She was awarded with ‘LinkedIn Power Profiles 2015’ in India. She was recently listed in Women of Change – Aspirational HR Women Leaders by People Matters. She was awarded in April 2014, ‘Leading Women in Human Resources’ by IWLF (International Women Leadership Forum). She was invited by British Council High Commission to Sri Lanka for the South Asia Meet for Women Leaders on the theme of Global Education in March 2014. She has been a strong advocate of Children Welfare Organizations and is passionate about making a difference to communities.
