Nidhi’s professional journey started as a Learning & Organization Development professional about 20 years ago. An avid traveller with a passion for people and cultures, her core areas of work are in various facets of Human Resources and includes institutionalization of Leadership Assessments and Development, alignment of Business with people practices, Diversity and Inclusion practices, Organizational Effectiveness practices, Executive Mentoring, Innovation Management and Leadership Development interventions.

Nidhi is currently leading the People Practice at Praj Industries, a global leader in Biotechnology and Engineering space.

Prior to Praj, Nidhi was the Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness at Thermax where her role included the entire gamut of Corporate HR including Talent development and Succession Planning, Compensation and Benefits, HR system, Senior and entry level talent acquisition.

As part of the high potential program at Thermax, Nidhi rotated three roles playing leadership roles in Learning & Development, Business and Corporate HR. In her role as an L&D head, she was won several accolades for nurturing a strong leadership pipeline through sustained learning and development practices and building a culture of learning at workplace.

Prior to Thermax, Nidhi was with Infosys where she was involved with building cultures of innovation, led the organization through change initiatives, extensively worked with the senior leadership to institutionalize long term interventions and developed an award winning leadership platform at Infosys Pune.

Nidhi has won several accolades for her work including the esteemed TISS CLO award for the L&D team of the year in 2015, the Prestigious BML Munjal Awards for excellence in Learning & Development in 2015 , the Thermax Innovation Award for a program on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at workplace, the esteemed Infosys Chairman’s Excellence Award for the work in Building cultures of Innovation at workplace.

She brings with her global perspective and experience, having worked with 3M and PDI in the US and studied in the United States for several years.

Nidhi received her bachelor’s degree in from Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi in the year 2000 and a PhD in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota, USA in year 2006.
