Shri Singh joined SAIL in 1987 in the Company’s Bhilai Steel Plant as Management Trainee (Technical) and worked for around 11 years in the Blooming & Billet Mill before switching over to HRD. Rising through the ranks, Shri Singh became the Executive Director I/c (Personnel & Administration) in SAIL before taking over as the Director (Personnel) of the Company. He is a post graduate in Organic Chemistry from Garwal University and did his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management in Human Resource Management from MDI, Gurgaon. He has an illustrious career spanning over more than three decades encompassing both line and HR functions.
